Amy Harris

Amy is our Studio Manager. She’s worked across creative industries, architecture and regeneration as a freelance artist and through in-house roles in marketing, events and studio management.

Alongside her role at Root And Erect, Amy works on socially engaged arts projects for non-profit organisations. Her work supports creative participation and facilitates dialogue, community building, self-expression and wellbeing through art making. Having originally trained as an illustrator, Amy spent a number of years working on illustration and set design projects in editorial, culture and advertising before moving into the social arts sector. She's currently undertaking a part time MA in Art Psychotherapy.

Amy is happiest when making something with her hands and is passionate about art and design with a social impact that is inclusive, relational and rooted in community.
