Our proposal for a temporary viewing pavilion allows visitors to overlook the vast construction site around Elephant & Castle. The hourglass shape would be constructed out of interlocking, cross-laminated timber panels, fabricated off site, easily assembled and disassembled for reuse.

The  main event space is grand, tranquil and column free, a refuge from the busy construction activity surrounding it.

Routes wind up the outer and inner face of the structure.
